Learn about the ingredients and the different local dishes and eating habits while exploring the market hall, the special chocholate shop and the butcher shop. Enjoy tastings of a variety of local cheeses, cured meats, and pickled vegetables, langos, local spirits, some special spreads and marmalades and fruit syrups. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a butcher shop of traditional dishes, a tasting of traditional Hungarian cakes in a historical cafe, and a wine tasting. Your guide will give you an introduction to Hungary's wine history, the different wine regions and the local grape varieties. Please note: the Great Market Hall is closed on Sunday but you can visit a smaller farmers market.
