This is a great way to discover the 2nd hippest neighbourhood in the world according to Vogue: through your taste buds!
Queen Street West is host to some of the best dining, shopping, and baking in Toronto and your local guide will get you to try the best pastries in the city in this 2.5 hours tour.
We will visit 4 different bakeries and sample at least 4 different kinds of sweets. These desserts hail from France, Italy and Argentina. Is there a better way to honor the most diverse city in the world than tasting desserts from all over the world?
Our guide will tell you about the bakeries we will be visiting (one of them featured in a popular TV show), some history and anecdotes about the funky area of Queen West and we will also have the chance to check out some of the most famous Street Art in Toronto.
The tour finishes at a chic Argentine café to try a south American specialty -Alfajores-. You will get your hands dirty by making your very own alfajor.
After you've had your fix, your guide will set you loose near Ossington Avenue where you can burn off your sugar high by shopping, drinking craft beer, sifting through vintage clothes, or discovering pop-up shops and galleries.
This tour includes 4 incredible pastries (Italian, French, Modern Eclairs, and Argentinian or cupcake), coffee or tea, and a polaroid picture of you and your sweets to take home.
