Bruadar Of The Isle Of Skye is a One Day Guided Tour, travelling west in the Highlands "over the sea to Skye" - Bonnie Prince Charlie's daring escape to the magical Isle, who's beauty has inspired movie producers, poets and travellers from all round the world, visiting two iconic medieval Castles - Eilean Donan Castle, a dramatic fortress that dates back to the13th century and a unique baronial style Dunvegan Castle, the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod for 800 years, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland, enjoying sublime views of Island landscapes - The Trotternish Peninsula, a roller-coaster of cliffs and mountains, filled with the local legends.
"Bruadar" is the Scottish Gaelic word for "Dream", an unforgettable journey we will take you on, far away from the busy cities, exploring the scenery of a fairground of beauty - the magical Isle of Skye as "Thistle be a dream you'll never want to leave".

This Tour offers two options:
OPTION 1 - A breath-taking drive along the Great Glen Fault Line, followed by a visit to Eilean Donan Castle - The Trotternish Peninsula, including the most famous scenery on The Island - The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and The Quiraing - The Skye Museum to step back in time to an old Highland Village, including a fascinating Jacobite Story - The coastal town of Port Righ, followed by a view of the dramatic ruin of Castle Moil, iconic Skye Bridge and Eilean Ban
OPTION 2 - A breath-taking drive along the Great Glen Fault Line, followed by sublime views of Kyle of Lochalsh onto Skye’s dominant mountain range - The Cuillins - Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, including one of the Clan MacLeod’s most treasured possessions - Am Bratach Sith (The Fairy Flag of Dunvegan) - The Skye Museum to step back in time to an old Highland Village, including a fascinating Jacobite Story - The "Glenachulish", the last manually operated turntable ferry in Scotland and part of Isle of Skye's heritage, a crossing point for hundreds of years
DURATION: Long Day Tour up to 12 hrs with an early start
DEPARTURE: We will collect and return you to your accommodation anywhere within the Highlands, if collection is further afield this can also be arranged. The tour timings could be flexible.
